u have to trouble shoot system first. there could be a multiple of problems. Go to auto parts or library and look for a repair book on your car. I have used these books many times and they are a big help to me .Auto zone ,pep boys,advanced auto,or O"rileys auto parts will have the book for your car. They give step by step instructions on repair.Also repair shops will give advice sometimes.
