It depends on where its broke at. Is the cable broken at the mechanical part or is it broken before that?
see related link i have a 94 s10 blazer and if you use your key with the back hatch handle you can open it
With the key.
Replace it with a new one, there is no repairing it.
The shift lever cable may be damaged or out of adjustment.
Take a flat screw driver and use it to push the spring away from the hood latch. Locate the screw driver at the end of the cable. This works for mine.
The "wing" that is over the rear hatch is to help keep the rear window clean.
Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
Neither, I believe it's electric.
Should be on top of the starter - follow the + battery cable
Yes
what is the wheel base for 1985 s10 blazer
You didn't say what year you have but, the cable has an adjustment at the transmission end. You need to release the adjustment lock, adjust cable then reset lock.
