First you need to determine if the problem is mechanical or electrical. Does the motor attempt to move the window? You may possibly have a bad window regulator. Pull the door panel off and check for 12+ volts at the motor in both switch directions, if you got it and there are no obvious obstructions at the regulator and the motor doesn't move, replace the motor. If you are missing voltage, you need to back trace the circuit and find the open. Master switches are common faults.
Turn around and look out the back window.
I will not fit. From my understanding every vehicle changes every 4 years. For example (1997-2000) (2001-2004) (2005-2008)
I looked at www. motorcraft . com ( no spaces ) and it lists four different part numbers for the four power window motors

To put a driver's side window back on track on a Ford Expedition you will have to reseat the window. Do this by removing the door panel and putting the window back in place. You can use silicone or Gorilla glue to attach the window. Leave the window in the up position for at least one day once you have it back on place.
