i don't know..sorry! :)
He i,have had the same problem, you can release the lock by droping rear seat and go into boot. The boot lock/catch as got a hole were you can put a thin screw driver in. Boot will pop open, then take cover off boot lid pull two prong multi plug off clicker boot switch. You may see that the prongs have turned green spray wd40 and clean, hope this helps as mine is working ok now, regards savpt
yes if you have a remote locking system you can lock the car with the boot open then if you leave the keys in the boot and shut it the boot locks. I've done it
I,ve trapped a bag handle in the lock of my Ka boot and it will not open with key or release button
It usually does this due to the lock being broken
Lock it in the boot.
the boot lock is jammed and I cant get it to unlock so that I can secure the car - how do I unlock it please? Key wont work
I had the same problem. Now I can only open and lock the car using the boot lock! There are two locking systems on the passat. The boot and obviously by locking the door(driver's).I would say that the boot locking system is acting up or stopped working altogether.Do the rest of the doors open when you turn the key in the boot? That would suggest it's the boot locking system.I know it's a common problem with that year and year's before.I know four people who have had it.Usually requires changing the lock on the boot.
insert boot disc
You don't fix it, you replace the door lock actuator.
ok a bit of a tricky question you need to do this from the inside of the car by folding you seats back then climbing into the boot of your car first you need to remove the plastic panel that stretches across the back of the boot door to reveal the locking mechanisiam then using a flat head screwdriver just unlick where the two points of the lock meet you will have to do this everytime you want to gain acsess to your boot until you either fix the problem or replace the lock good luck.
