Sounds like a blown fuse?
The best way to fix a radio and odometer display that doesn't work is to check the fuses. When you replace the bad fuse then the lights should work in your dash.
Printed wiring on the windscreen. There is no freestanding radio antenna.
Disconnect from the radio by unplugging it from the back of the receiver. It has a standard radio plug.
Button broken? Original Delco stereos notorious for unreliability. I put a Sony system in my Intrigue when the Delco cassette player crapped out a few years ago.
Pull the plastic trim that surrounds the radio and center stack, remove the screws that hold it in, pull it out and unplug it. Reverse to install.
the radio was either pulled out or the battery in the car was disconnected at some point you have to go to an Oldsmobile dealer if you do not have the unlock code they will be able to look up off the vin number and walk you through the steps to unlock it
Replace the radio.
you must pop out the frame over the radio and a/c unit -there are six internal clips. then you will see the screws that hold the instrumet panel.just be careful you don't break the cover.
If you go to a web site at www.radio-code.com you will find the info there. they will guide you thruogh the steps to get your radio seriel # first then then you e-mail them the # &19.95 they will send you the override code for your radio i had to do this and it worked. Bought 2nd hand car, did not know but it works good luck !
the lights are out on my dash, climate control and radio buttons, but are ok (but very dim) on the odometer and radio clock/display. it's like someone turned the dimmer all the way down. could the dimmer be bad? all my interior lights and automatic headlights work.
Need clarification on what you are asking.
What will happen is the car will not start nor will the electrical lights, radio ect. Unless your doing electrical work on the car don't dissconect the battery
