The PSP-1000 is much heavier than the 2000 and 3000. The PSP-2000 and 3000 are very similar though the 3000 has an antiglare screen, a built in microphone and the HOME button has been changed to the PS button.
On the PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 series it is the button marked 'Home' on the left of the buttons below the screen. On the PSP-3000 and E1000, it is the same place, but is marked with a PlayStation logo instead.
What to do? Go to eBay and look for a new PSP housing. Keep in mind that it's important to look for the right model. There are 3 PSP's now. PSP-1000, PSP-2000 and the PSP-3000. Search for things like: PSP-2000 replacement Housing, PSP-2000 replacement. etc etc I think you have to buy a whole new housing because I've never seen those little parts like the volume button for sale. Good luck! and go find a cool new color for your PSP.
It is not 'on' the PSP, it is something on special routers. The PSP is asking you to press the button on the router, not locate a button on the PSP.
