The on/off button on the mirror controls functions such as automatic dimming and temperature display. It is the far left button located on the lower part of the mirror face. Press the on/off button to change the temperature display. You can select °F, °C, or turn the display off. = Automatic Dimming Rearview Mirror with Compass and Temperature Display (without OnStar®) = The TEMP button located on the bottom of the mirror face changes the temperature display. You can select °F, °C, or turn the display off.

Scroll through until you find that function, then set as desired. Unlike the audible rear parking assist, the rearview mirror assist is not as helpful as it sounds.
