Needs the seals replaced
depending on if you can find the approximate location of the leak it is possible to fix it with some beaded silicon (available at the hardware store near paint or auto store). You will need a caulk gun too. Just be careful to keep it off the glass. This is only if its the seal/gasket is leaking if your glass is cracked or something hardware wise, this won't help.
Needs a new seal ------------------------------ I would suggest having a professional do it. Do a web search for "Airgun Repair' and locate someone to repair the gun for you. see the link below for parts
The o-rings are damaged and are not making a perfect seal. Find which ones are leaking, and replace them.
The Seals are shot. Without knowing the model I can't tell you how to fix it. I suggest that you go online and search for "Airgun Repair" and find a shop that can fix it for you.
A shotgun needs wadding to prevent air or gas from leaking out. If the gas leaks out the gun has no compression meaning the ammunition won't go very far.
This is a very ignorant question. Please state what the problem is with the gun. If you don't, nobody knows what the heck is wrong with it. And if they don't know what's wrong, how are they going to fix it?
If you are asking how to fix it: Unfortunately unless you can glue or seal it it, the gun will not work without the Black sear pin. You may have to buy a new receiver half.
I suggest you search the web for "Air gun repair" and locate someone near you to repair the rifle. See the link below.
i cant afford a new seal for my daisy powerline 917/177cal(45mm) lead air gun pellet. How can i make one myself?.thanks. Contact Daisy "Contact us / Customer service" at www.daisy.com They may be able to help you.
If you want to try and fix it yourself you will need to know where the leak is coming from, easiest way to find that is to get onto a paintball form and start asking questions. once you know where it is coming from you can replace the seal that has gone bad. If you dont want to work on it yourself the next best thing is to send it into a shop and have them work on it. Check your gun's documentation and the bag of small parts that may have come with it. Many have a cup seal or similar mechanism and explain in the documentation how to inspect and/or replace it. Some even come with a spare seal.
