FIAT = Fix It Again Tomorrow
Try replacing the cat, or the downpipe.
The speedometer on the Fiat punto Mk1 was made with a speedo that reads 5 mph min. There is a needle stopping the speedo from going below this, so you dont need to "fix" anything as this is standard.
around 200 pound in a garage or you can buy clutch kit your self for around 60 pound!!
in my fiat punto (51 plate) i had the abs light on constantly. This could simply be down to having a dirt covered ABS sensor or the ABS sensor just being damaged. I paid about £30 for an aftermarket ABS sensor. its a simple fix and shouldn't be too costly.
Try the trunk release on/off button located in the glove box. If this button is in the off position then the trunk release button will not work.
Check the release fuse first. Then check the relay, and the switch. If these are all ok, then check the solenoid at the release inside of the trunk.
Hi have the same issue sometimes, im looking to see if VAG-K-CAN interfaces will do the trick
Read your manual. There is a switch in the glove box to disable the trunk release button on the dash. you lock the glove box with the regular key. When you give someone the valet key they can not get in the trunk.
Bring it to your local locksmith
Mk2 Puntos has a weak piece of linkage on the front wipers. The fix is relatively easy, although it will cost you a little money...there are details on http://www.fiatforum.com/punto-technical/29022-mk2-punto-wiper-linkage-upgrade-now-only-65-carriage-free.html
