No. You can buy a hard drive for a Xbox. You can play music from a thumb drive though.
You can use any USB Storage Device (such as a thumb drive or an external hard drive) to store games, saves, Gamertags, or media on. But, it is better to use the Official Xbox Thumb drive or the Xbox Hard Drive as they are both designed for use with the Xbox 360.
You can't transfer files on xbox 360 using a usb thumb drive, but you can if you buy a xbox 360 memory card
PS4 confirmed supports ExFat format (read & write) from USB Thumb Drive and USB External Hard Disk Drive - Tried it myself. Not an Xbox One owner, so not sure on that console, but it should be since it's using Win 8 as an OS...
At the dashboard, while connected to xbox live, go to the marketplace and select games, there you can choose from arcade games, xbox original games, and game add ons. now with the ability to buy full xbox 360 games its much easier although a hdd upgrade may be in order
Plug it in the USB slot. Don't force it. Use a USB Extender if possible. There are two usb slots Under the green power light and one in the back. Depending on what files you have on it, the xbox will be able to use them.(music and photos.) You will not be able to save data to the drive from the xbox.
You can buy a Xbox 360 s hard drive from the Xbox website.
Yes you have to have Xbox live to update your flash drive.

No it wont the Xbox 360 is the only Custum System that you can transfer the hard drive but it is not possible to switch it for a Xbox one.
On the older Xbox 360's, at the top. The Xbox 360 S, the hard drive is located at the bottom of the Xbox.
The Xbox original does a hard drive like any other console. The Xbox 360 however is portable and can be changed.
