How do you fix the 360 red ring of death?

1 ring means a memory problem, if u have a harddrive replace it, or switch out memory cards if u use one, but it sucks u lose all your memory. U can also try unpluging all the cables and the power supply and reconnect them.

Most people say to send your Xbox 360 to Microsoft. However my friend was talking about how you have to pay Micrsoft $140 for them to fix your 3 red rings problem and you'll have to wait six weeks until you get your 360 back. He used a reapir guide to fix his xbox. I'll link to the one he used. It's only $14 which as you can see saves you money and you'll probably be able to repair it yourself in under an hour.

You can simply just disconnect everything from your xbox and take out the harddrive then clean the xbox with air dust can and whipes put harddrive back in and attach the accessories that always works for 1 ring

You can't without taking it apart and voiding the warranty. Send it to Xbox to get it repaired (approximately $120 without warranty, $0 with). Their is a temporary fix where you overheat the xbox by wrapping it in a towel but that could damage it even more.

turn it on and wrap damp towels around it for about an hour but check up on it every so often it will cool itself down it works perfectly
