Only way I know is to contact customer support and hope you saved the receipt. They'll fix it free if it's still in the one-year warranty. The sent me a prepaid box to pack it in and I dropped off at UPS. Awating return. The larger concern is, of course, this shouldn't be happening to so many people.
Well its xbox that gets red light of death on ps3 its yellow so if you turn you ps3 on it beeps and flashes yellow you have an issue if its red your ps3 is just turned off press power button to the right to put it on and go to green.here is the solutions for YLOD
you can send it to sony for like 100 $ they will fix it and give you game back. But remember sometimes they dont want to mess with it they give ya disk back and brand new ps3 and so you loose all your saved games ect.
Best solution is to do it your self will take few hours but there is step by step on YouTube how to take ps3 apart and get to motherboard once you are done you can resolder the solder bridges on the system that were created from over heating and it will work again. It will work just fine but it might melt down again depending on "how good your soldering work will be" if you can use solder removing suction tube to get all old solder off and use good make solder and make very good soldering job then you will not have the issue of YLOD. i have done that 2nd time i got YLOD i didnt send it in and it has been working great for over 3 years now.
This happened to me many times, you need to open up the console, get a damp cloth and dab it down onto the main parts inside. Once done, dry up with a towel, personally I recommend using a wet sponge, cleans it was the same time clearing any further dust. If none of this works, I suggest getting a Xbox 360, much better then a Play Station.

It is your TV that is only showing a Black Screen and no Video or audio. Make sure that the TV is turned to the same video input the PS3 is plugged into. If you have moved the PS3 or switched from a HDMI try holding down the power button for 2 beeps while the PS3 is off to reset your video to the lowest level. Check your TV to make sure all of it's settings are correct
press the power button for 30 sec
At least in the USA, a red light does not turn yellow. It turns green. A green light turns yellow, and then the yellow light turns red. IN THAT ORDER.
Black chromate!
When a yellow book is viewed through a green filter, the filter will absorb most of the yellow light but allow green light to pass through. As a result, the book may appear darker and its yellow color may become less vibrant when viewed through the green filter.
If you're in the intersection and it is green then turns to yellow/red, it is fine to go. Entering the intersection after it is already yellow is unlawful driving. GA
stop but if 5m from walking line charge forword
The answer is Barium.
if you are referring to the green light at the bottom of the speedometer-- that would be -- when it turns yellow and then to red -- it is time to change the oil. after you have changed the oil-- there is a place close to that light that you can fit a key into. just push it with the key & that resets it back to green. green is good. yellow & red --- oil needs changing.
You don't have to wait any amount of time when the light turns green, when the light turns green that means the intersection is safe for you to proceed.
It just stays black because when you mix black with anything it just turns black
its on stand-by
Look, when you combine green and red light it turns into a color that humans can't completely see because it is not a part of the visible spectrum so stop saying that it's yellow and brown because its NOT! Look if you mix them they result in a white light. Well a grayish white light. Just like if you mixed yellow and violet. That's why there's no color that is called "reddish-green" or "blueish-yellow" BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SEE IT.__________Mixing the same amount of green light and a red light produces yellow light. To get white light you mix the same amount of green, red, and blue light. Mixing different proportions of the three light sources will result in a gamut of colors.
When the traffic light comes into view and it's green, it was likely green for a long time, unless you also observe cars just starting to get going. If you see the traffic light is green in the distance we call this green light "stale", meaning it could turn yellow any second. A traffic light that just turned green, we call this green light "fresh", meaning it just turned green and it won't be turning yellow for a little while. Of course these times between from when it turns green then back to yellow and red again varies on the intersection. To answer the question when you're approaching a green traffic light you should prepare to stop as that green light is "stale". You don't necessarily have to slow down just get ready to hit the brake.
