Here's how to fix it: Hold down A and B before turning your DS on. Still holding it down, turn it on. Before "...Not by nintendo..." screen pops up, hold down start and select, still holding A and B. Continue holding them until Menu screen pops up. It will most likely freeze when you let go, so turn it off, start it again, and it will work. :)
A roll-down screen, would mainly a screen that well, rolls down. It could drop down, roll-down, fold down, etc. They are widely used for projectors.
What about it? It's a DS game where you play as a ball form of Kirby and friends, drawing lines on the touch screen for the ball to move down.
Here you can get free downloads for your w580i: http://www.myw580.lasyk.net/ You'll need Sony Ericsson PC Suite installed on your computer, and a phone-computer connector cord. Download the games/ringtones/whatever you want to your computer, then plug your phone into your computer and open Sony Ericsson PC Suite. Wait a few seconds until the icon on the screen turns green, and then click on "File Transfer." Your computer's files are on the left, phone/phone memory card files are on the right. Choose you want to save the downloads to your phone itsself or it's memory card (Memory card suggested if you have one) and double click the memory card folder. If you want to put in a ringtone, go to music>ringtones. If you want to put in a song, go to music. If you want to put in a game, go to other. Etc. Once you're in the folder you want to put the file into, find the file on your computer and press the arrow facing to the right, it will put the file onto your phone. If it's a game file, after you put it on your phone, go on your phone to "My Stuff" (The menu icon on the left, second to the bottom) and go down to "Other." Select the game from "other" and it will begin installing. Then you can save it to "Games" and play it.
If you have internet on your phone, you can download from there, but there's other ways too. All you have to do is hold down the top bottom with the home button. This worked for me when my ipod touch did that, hopefully it helps you!
You can either tune out the blue lines by changing the screen lighting settings (sometimes doesn't work depends on your model and make) or by a new (very expensive) graphics card
