Well if ur switching from green to red coolant, it makes sense to flush the whole system, cuz if u don't do it u still gonna have part of the green stuff in circulation and that can affect the timelife of the red stuff, meaning if u mix it u might as well save the money and put green stuff again ! About the waterwetter, it's gonna make ur engine run a couple of degrees cooler but don't expect anything amazing. It just does what they say it does Well if ur switching from green to red coolant, it makes sense to flush the whole system, cuz if u don't do it u still gonna have part of the green stuff in circulation and that can affect the timelife of the red stuff, meaning if u mix it u might as well save the money and put green stuff again ! http://www.entertainmentvenues.org Hello Readers, Please visit the following link for further details http://auto.howstuffworks.com/cooling-system.htm/printable Hello Readers, In order to Flush a readiator, you need to (1) unplug the radiator from its bottom, once all the coolent fluid is drained, (2) replug the radiator, then open the radiator cap fill the radiator with water with few drops of liquid soap and bleach and run the engine for couple of minutes then stop. Repeat two to three times the step (1) and (2) but this time with liquid soap and bleach. Soap and bleach helps in clearing the rust scaling formed on engine and head block passageways. (Carefully remove the overflow tank and clean it with soap and bleach, fix it back). Once you finished two to three repeats, finally fill the radiator with the required cooling fluid. Some tips on cooling fluid: Cars operate in a wide variety of temperatures, from well below freezing to well over 100 F (38 C). So whatever fluid is used to cool the engine has to have a very low freezing point, a high boiling point, and it has to have the capacity to hold a lot of heat. Water is one of the most effective fluids for holding heat, but water freezes at too high a temperature to be used in car engines. The fluid that most cars use is a mixture of water and ethylene glycol (C2H6O2), also known as antifreeze. By adding ethylene glycol to water, the boiling and freezing points are improved significantly. Pure Water50/50

C2H6O2/Water70/30

C2H6O2/Water Freezing Point 0 C / 32 F-37 C / -35 F-55 C / -67 F Boiling Point 100 C / 212 F106 C / 223 F113 C / 235 F The temperature of the coolant can sometimes reach 250 to 275 F (121 to 135 C). Even with ethylene glycol added, these temperatures would boil the coolant, so something additional must be done to raise its boiling point. The cooling system uses pressure to further raise the boiling point of the coolant. Just as the boiling temperature of water is higher in a pressure cooker, the boiling temperature of coolant is higher if you pressurize the system. Most cars have a pressure limit of 14 to 15 pounds per square inch (psi), which raises the boiling point another 45 F (25 C) so the coolant can withstand the high temperatures. Antifreeze also contains additives to resist corrosion. Finally! You have to check the cooling system atleast once a year before start of summer. If possiable replace the 1) Radiator Cap 2) Thermostat valve, this prevent major engine breakdown. NOTE: I do not hold any responsibility if any damages caused, owner of the car need to take such responsibility.

How to flush radiator in a 92 Camry?

You can best flush the radiator on your 1992 Camry by taking it to a shop that has the proper equipment to do a complete fluid exchange while the car is at operating temperture. You cannot do a complete flush if the car engine is cold, because the thermostat blocks passages in the engine block. Flushing the radiator alone by removing the lower hose, recovering and disposing of the old coolant, and refilling is only part of the system. Thanks for reading. RM

How to flush a Toyota previa radiator?

To flush a Toyota Previa radiator, first drain the antifreeze in the radiator into a bucket. This is done by turning the valve at the bottom of the radiator. Close the valve and add a radiator flush product purchased at an automotive parts store. Follow the directions on the bottle of flush. This usually means running the vehicle for a certain amount of time and then draining the radiator again.
