well, you really don't. they sort of stay apart of you forever, or until you've outgrowned them. trust me, I've been in this situation before. it's ok to think about them, and if you're still friends, talk to them. otherwise, just keep whatever thoughts about him/her to yourself. :)

However, time is a great mender and you can help things along by trying not to brood over your current situation and by going out with your friends more, they will help you get a sense of perspective. By going out more, you may even meet someone new that you like and that likes you back.
When you do find the correct person for you, the feelings you have now will seem shallow by comparison to what will happen then.

You can't make someone like you. I suggest you forget about it and meet someone who likes you. All through your life you will meet men/boys that you like but they are not interested for one reason or another, so what you have to do is move on and forget them.

You need to find someone that you like that likes you back, because if they don't like you back its not a good relationship, if you would even consider it a relationship at all. You deserve someone who likes you for who you are, and doesnt want you to be someone your not.
