Well A mac uses fat32 which is used by flash drives
Nowhere. It doesn't exist in that format.
If it's not formatted FAT32 already, you will have to format it to FAT32 which erases the data on the drive.
There is no iMac format or Windows 7 format. Photos stored on the iMac and a Windows 7 pc are in the JPEG format. Either computer can read this format.
no because its a different format
The NTFS format is owned and controlled by Microsoft and so is not available as a standard format with the Mac's Disk Utility. There are options such as Paragon's NTFS for Mac OS X but normally this would be used on a secondary external drive rather than reformat the MacBook's hard disc.
Computer aplications for Windows are in the .exe file format; for Mac there are in the .dmg file format.
The FAT 32 format can be used by both Mac OS X and Windows. In the Mac's Disc Utility it is referred to as MS-DOS (FAT). There is a 4GB limit to the file size in this format which will not be a problem with text documents and web pages etc. but could be a problem with, for example, large video files.
Use a converter that works for both filetypes.
