  • Step 5

    Cook the chicken pieces for about 10 minutes per side. Regulate the heat as the chicken cooks, keeping the oil temperature below 375 degrees - use a deep frying thermometer to the check the temperature.

  • Step 6

    Drain chicken on paper towels.

Stab the chicken with a toothpick or knife and just cut it open. and see if it's white its cooked but if its pink cook it a little longer but also depends if you are frying dark meat
