Answer: You should use a runescape skill calculator for this kind of questions. Do a Google search for those terms (runescape skill calculator), you will find several. However, to get a quick idea, a yew log (the best and most expensive log in free-to-play) gives you 202.5 firemaking experience; you need about 13 million experience (total) for level 99.

The best way to get 99 firemaking is to have 2,758,905 mil gp for the perfect amount of logs and ALOT of determination as firemaking can be the most boring skill and not to forget the most piontless skill to get in runescape as you don't really get any items for this, until of course you get that all amazing 99 to show your friends your SKILLCAPE...

Anyway from 1-15 firemaking you will need:

61 normal logs (2684gp)

Welldone that was your very first step to 99 firemaking, now for 15-30 you will need:

183 oak logs (7320gp)

Phew, well if you got bored at that then i don't think 99 firemaking is for you because right now from 30-99 you'll need these:

144,679 willow logs (2,748,901gp)

Your doing willow logs as there the cheapest logs out there giving you the cheapest way to your all amazing 99 firemaking skill.

After all fired up quest, you can play the minigame, i recommend you get each reward because they give you a nice xp bonus in firemaking and you save alot of xp to 99.

I recommend maple logs to 99 with A>F>U rewards =]

Willow - Maple Logs are least Money Consuming, but do take a while. But if money isn't the matter, then go for Yew - Magic Logs.

ok welll i just got 99 firemaking!! so i can answer this easily.. 1-99 its around 4m

but in my situation i hade 71-99 2m :)

it depends how long you train, non-stop training is about 4-5 months.... my friend and i both got it in 2 months and we did non stop so that's a misperception

how much money or how long? idk what ur talking about so ill answer both... for 12m exp in FM u will need 95k maple logs wich is about 5.5m coins how long? like a week or 2 using maple logs
