Are you asking how to get an image of something that appears on screen (a game) as a .gif file?
If so:
- Take a screen dump (the Prt Scr key on the top row of the keyboard towards the right).
- Open your favorite image editing application
- Make a new empty image
- Paste in the screen dump (probably [Ctrl + V] works here)
- Save as .gif
