Unless you installed it using Forge mod Loader the only way to uninstall a mod is to delete your .minecraft folder and start minecraft to get a fresh install.
if you had forge mod loader just deleting the mods .zip file usually uninstalls the mod
i recommend backing up your .minecraft folder before any changes are made.
