its completely random actually talk to the girl in sand gem after you do the stark moutain event and all that stuff after words, she will tell you when ther are Pokemon outbreaks, some of them include, beldum, natu, and even baltoy, you can also catch baltoys by, inserting ruby Sapphire or emerald into the gba advanced cartridge if you are not using a D.S light and your using the D.S.I i am sorry, those are to complicated for me to explain ( i haven't gotten my cartridge for it yet to really try)

You need to catch and evolve a Baltoy, or trade from another version. You can find Baltoy's on Route 206 using a PokéRadar.
You trade Magmar from Pokemon pearl, diamond,or platinum to ether Pokemon pearl, diamond,or platinum.
You can Catch them in on the route 206 in Pokemon diamond, pearl, and platinum but is quite rare to catch so you should use a pokeradar in the grass.
No, they removed Lavender Town in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.
In Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Baltoy evolves into Claydol at Level 36.
no
Yes but it does not involve the special features that are offered by the platinum version
you can not get it from Pokemon platinum you can trade in to diamond or pearl
It means Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.
Michael does not exist in pokemon diamond, pearl or platinum
no but you can trade between platinum and pearl/diamond if you have 2 Nintendo ds's.
i reckon PLatinum. it has all the new features but doesnt allow some Pokemon to appear in the wild that do in Diamond/ pearl. but platinum also has even rarer Pokemon that don't appear in pearl/diamond. I have all three. YAY
