You can't really just "get" them to become friendly with each other. Give them time to get used to each other. Find an activity both cats like to do, like chase mice or something, then if they start fighting stop the game and find something else. I suppose like people, they should have the same interests. If all you do fails, I recommend just not having them be by each other. Hope this helps!
Well it's depending on the breed and personality of the cat. Some breeds are more friendly then others. The only true way to know that a cat is friendly is by spending time with it. Start taking notes on it's behaviour around others or yourself to see how it acts. Even shy or nervous cats can become used to you over time, and become more friendly towards a familiar face.
This depends on the cat. If a house cat is raised well, it is likely to be very friendly.
They are a beautiful breed :) Whether they are cat friendly really depends on the dog and how its treated. And what experiences they've had with cats. If a dog has been attacked by a cat then mabye they think that cats arent so friendly therefore they might have a grudge against cats. But if the interaction between the dog and the cat is good and no cat scratching then the dog might become cat friendly. Its early puppy stages are important and socializing with cats within the first 6 months is essencial if the dog is living in a cat zone :)
