How do you get a crafting table on sims 2 castaway when your not on the 1st island I need one to make an axe do I have to go back to the first island?

There is 2 things that you can do
no.1 you can go back to island 1 and make an axe there
OR
no.2 you can go in to where you can build stuff (on the pause page) and in special stuff there should be bamboo crafting table but you need bamboo and more stuff
