Well, you really just have to be yourself, if he doesn't like you for you, then he's totally not worth it. If you live a lie to get someone to like you, and they end up liking the lie, then they will be p****d when they find out the truth. Go get him!!! : )

I think I'm a lesbien but if there is one thing I know about men, it's that they want to know what you want. If you haven't talked to him before, making a positive comment about clothing is one of the best ice-breakers I can think of. If there is nothing on the shirt, just say, "I like your shirt." make polite conversation and then drag your personal life into it. The conversation will get serious and at the next awkward pause, ask him if he would like to meet with you somewhere casual (the lunch table, sports field after school [tell a parent about that one though], or even the halls in between classes). Tada! You have a friendly coupling. Now just avoid treating him like a best friend because if you do then you ARE best friends and then your stuck; keep the aura of polite flirting going. Awkward pauses are always the best times to change a relationship. Let tension grow and eventually the feeling that "you should kiss now" will align between you two. Now you are a real couple.
