Either use the Game-Shark (not preferred, and not to mention I don't know the 3 codes off the top) or use the Missingno. Cheat.

To do the Missingno. Cheat, you must have 1x Nugget in the 6th slot of your items. its preferred to have beaten the first 6 gyms, and have cinnabar Island as a fly access point. if not, going to the right side of the Sea Foam Islands from Fuchsia City will work the same. before you go to one of the surf points you must talk to the old man in Viridian City about catching a pokemon, let him show you how it's done. then go straight to your menu without moving, fly to fuchsia or cinnabar (i prefer cinnabar because its quicker to get Surfing.) and head out to the far right of the island, just surfing up and down, and not entering the full body. You must be half and half with the land and water. You may encounter a random pokemon at some crazy level (ie: L.175) and Missingno. (or its odd counterpart with a glitchy name, which will still duplicate items.) ensure before you do this, you have the Nugget in item slot 6. once you just see him, you can run. you now have a "glitch block" in front of a 9 as your qty. this represents 129. I suggest don't sell them all, because after 100 the values stops at 499999 for 99 nuggets.
