How do you get a novacristal in monster hunter freedom 2?

the only place i can think of is, the last mining spot at the farm. and they are rare so you have to mine it a lot before you get one.

you can mine it in the old swamp and new swamp (where ever there is large crystals) the % of finding is not all that high but i have found a few (best run i found 5) and you can get them in the bomb mineing but you have to use large barrel bomb+ and even then it is only a small % chance that you will get it.

Swap Map. inside the cave. those glowing crystals are mining points.

you can get some from there.

also the mining point at 2,3, and 4 in your farm has some also

the Bomb Mining cat equip with some large bomb or sall bomb plus or bounce bomb plus also produces it. not sure which of the 3 bombs so better try all...
