I am going to go out on a limb here and guess that you want to know how to make two tree out of one. Expose a surface root of the mature tree ( they will do it on their own also ), a new tree will begin to grow from the root. When the tree is about a foot tall sever the root leading back toward the original tree about eight inches away and in about a week dig it up and replant it elsewhere. You can leave the two trees connected and they will grow as sisters.
The aspen tree ( in the same family ) is reported to be the largest living thing in the world, It is in Colorado. A forest actually but upon examination it was found that all the trees were connected.
