Gladiator priest palidan mage
* * * * *In all truth, there is NO perfect team. Every vocation has a collection of weaknesses that enimies will end up exploiting. However, the best vocations to start with are (if you want to power through the game) a Minstrel, a Warrior, a Martial Artist, and a Mage. In the long run, much cross-training is nessesary. The basic vocations would be a Ranger, a Paladin, a Martial Artist, and a Sage. The Ranger (starting as a Minstrel) would need to have training as a Priest, and a Paladin for sure; however, the Armamentalist and Sage vocations are useful as well. For the Paladin (starting as a Warrior), all vocations that contribute to agility are completely nessesary, and the Priest vocation to supplement Magical Mending. Paladins can be a terror in battle, but are slow as snails if precautions are not taken. The Martial Artist would need anything and everything supplementing their resiliance, improvements to their attack abilities, and providing a shield will keep them around for a long while making them a nightmare for enemies. The Paladin and Gladiator vocations are a good place to start. Finally the Sage (starting as a Mage or a Priest), needs to be proficient as both a Mage and as a Priest, Sages draw hevily off both vocations. Also, work as a Paladin will help prevent enemies from deliveriong them a KO early on in fights.-Keianor, Lord of the Sword
