it is usually easiest to just walk or ride up to a recognized border control facility such as can be found anywhere a road or bridge crosses the border tho you can also cross over it in a plane or skirt around it on a boat
however you can actually cross anywhere by any means if you arent caught by the authorities
I went by foot and I didn't need anything at all to get in it's coming back that's the problem.... But you would normally need your I.d. and a passport but you should do more research on it
