You can get the unfilled book by completeing the "Horror From The Deep" quest, then choosing the red book, then you will have to find all 4 pages to fill the book, you can obtain these by doing clue scrolls, or buying them at the Grand Exchange, when you fully fill the book it will become an Unholy book, to use it to bless unholy symbols you will need 50+ Prayer.

∙ 13y agoSpell books are Aquired after the horror from the deep quest. once u complete it you will have a selection between zam, guthixs, or saradomin. which everone you pick u will have to fill with the proper pages. once a book if filled u may return to the light house where u completed the quest and obtain ur next book, or ur choice. there is also an armadyl, bandos, and zaros book. i did the quest before them so idk if it's the same with those. page pirces are as following: guthix = 300k zam = 1.6m saradomin = 1.1m bandos = 1.3m armadyl = 2.7m and zaros i think around 1.1m "when the new ones first came out that is"

∙ 12y agoThere are three different spellbooks: Ancients, Lunars, and Moden(what you have by default)
Ancients can be changed by the parymid where the quest "Desert Treasure" ends.
Lunars can be found at "Lunar Isle" after the completion of the Lunar series. (excluding dream mentor)
Moderns can be found by praying at the above alters/ an alter in a player owned house.
If you are talking about the books that are held in the off hand slot there are many diferent kinds and may be purchased/earned after the quest "Horror From The Deep"

∙ 13y agoAfter you beat the quest Horror From The Deep You will choose 3 books, choose guthix because it is cheepest to fill the pages up, once you have all pages it will become book of balance and give +4 to all stats. you then will have to go to jossik and pay him 3k for the book of armadyl and when filled up it gives +6 or 10 ranged bounus i forgot
