You can volunteer for Recruiting duty by contacting you branch manager or by going on line and completing a Volunteer Recruiting packet. Otherwise you have to wait until you are DA selected for recruiting duty.

∙ 12y agoBe a E-4 SPC with 2 years Time in Service or E-5 and above with 4 years Time in Service, you can be Department of the Army selected (branch manager selects you) or you can volunteer. When either is completed you must then complete a background check and complete Recruiting School. About a week from graduation of Recruiting School you will know what Recruiting Battalion you will be assigned to. Then when you outprocess your current duty station you will receive your orders from levy.
