Now if the files are REALLY important and you want to pay LOTS of money you MAY be able to recover them using a third party company that is designed to do that sort of thing. If you run Install then Repair it shouldn't delete files in "My Documents" (at least it didn't when I did it recently). If you run Install then Install it will delete the files.
