How do you get back the recently added playlist on itunes so the songs that i recently add will automatically go there?

To configure a Recently Added smart playlist select New Smart Playlist from the iTunes File menu. Configure the rule for items to be added to the new smart playlist. Select Most Recently Added from the "Selected by" drop down menu to have recently added songs included in the playlist.

Songs added to iTunes are added to the library by default. You can create a New Smart Playlist from the iTunes File menu. Amongst the many options you can set it to list all Recently Added songs. If you want to add songs from a folder outside of iTunes you will need to create an Automator and/or AppleScript (See links below) that watches the folder and tells iTunes when new songs need to be added.

You start itunes software.. in settings for music, turn on "sync recently added".. put your CD in the drive (it will autostart and ask if you want to add it to your collection), and add it to your media collection (wait while the program turns it into MP3 format). on the Library (left panel) click on recently added and you will see your CD. Right click on it to down load the cover (free from itunes) if you want. sync the iPod.. listen. sounds harder than it is.
