∙ 14y agoYou can't make someone (gay or straight) like you if they don't want to. But if they don't know you yet, you've got a shot.
- Step one -- get to know each other. You should know what he likes to do, things you have in common (favorite music, sports, movies, etc), favorite foods, favorite school subject -- that sort of thing.
- Step two -- invite him to do something with you. Make it something with a definite end, like going to a movie or a ballgame, so each of you will have an excuse to end the date if things aren't going right.
- Step three -- after at least 3 successful dates, (ideally, by this time he will have suggested at least one of those dates) you might suggest "just hanging out" or something else less structured.
Give this a little time, especially if he's shy or in the closet. Good luck!
