First you have to get the gs ball by getting the national pokedex then when you get the gs ball go to Ilex forest and put the gs ball in the shrine and then celebi will appear and bring you through time where then you will see your rival arguing with his father about him not wanting to join team rocket then celebi will bring you through time again and you will have to battle your rivals father. Your rivals dads Pokemon are:Nidoking,Nidoqueen,and two other ones.
