Pokemon soul silver is better then Pokemon heart gold - Well I can't say, because I've only played soulsilver. Soulsilver is AWESOME. Just so you know :D But I have a lot of Pokemon-obsessed friends who've played both, and most of them say soulsilver is better. But they're basically the same game (with a slightly different plot), except in Soulsilver, the main legendary Pokemon is Lugia, and in Heartgold it's Ho-oh. So, which do you like better, Lugia or Ho-oh? Or if you can find a large price difference I'd buy the cheaper one, but I think they cost about the same. Anyways I would go with soulsilver, but they're basically the same so it really doesn't matter. PS: you can get it with or without the pokewalker- I would definitely get it with the pokewalker

Depends on which Pokemon you like, and what your friends have.If you have a friend with SoulSilver then you should get HeartGold because Groudon is exclusive to SoulSilver and Kyogre is exclusive to HeartGold. If you can trade with your friend, even temporarily, then you can access the amazing Pokemon Rayquaza.If you don't have wi-fi connection then getting the opposite game can help you fill your pokedex as there are some exclusive Pokemon in each game (Vulpix to SoulSilver, Growlithe to HeartGold etc.).It also depends on weather you like Lugia or Ho-oh better and if you are planning on training them. If you are then get the game with the corresponding Pokemon on the cover as you catch them earlier and get to train with them for longer. It is easier to catch the cover star of the game in the corresponding game.If you just want to get the strongest legendary then get the game with the opposite cover star as you can catch the Pokemon you want at a higher level.e.g. If you want the strongest wild Lugia then get HeartGold. As far as I know, Pokemon on Pokemon Black and White have to stay on those games, as for Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, you can not only migrate Pokemon from earlier generations of games, you can also trade with Pokemon Platinum and Diamond and Pearl. It's your opinion, but in HeartGold you can catch Ho-oh, Suicune, Raiku, and Entei, and in SoulSilver you can catch Lugia, Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno. There are also more Pokemon available in HeartGold than SoulSilver. Edit: The person who last answered this question is wrong, you can catch all of the above Pokemon in both games, not in either or. I know this because I have soul silver and I have suicune, raiku, Entei, Ho-oh, Lugia, Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno; so obviously you must be able to catch them in both.
