That is one of the more difficult stains- as you probably know by now. I have had very good success with Resolve Carpet Cleaner. The link below will also take you to an article of cherry soda and carpet. Or mix bicarbonate soda in water and gently dab on carpet then dab with clean kitchen role to remove.
