We may get type 2 Diabetes due to the following two factors
*genetic factors
Type 2 diabetes has a very strong genetic link but the genes are dormant (in a sleeping state and not dominant). Therefore unless you activate the lifestyle factors, you may not get type 2 diabetes after all
*lifestyle factors- and the most important ones. The 4 most important lifestyle habits are
* What goes into your mouth.
* What is your exercise routine like, if any
* What is the quantity and the quality of sleep
* How stressed are you at a day to day level and how do you manage it
- Obviously there are other lifestyle factors that also affect how prone you are to Diabetes - like exposure to sunlight, having a good social circle, mental well-being, habits etc. Unfortunately the first 4 lifestyle habits that I mentioned are also generally inherited from your family.
