depends on how good you are. you need to accomplish certain tasks. *1=Beat elite four *2=Beat master rank contest in each catergory *3=Get a platinum flag (steal 50 flags) *4=get a 50 win streak in battle tower *5= Complete pokedex (hard!) each star# has a corresponding colour 0=red 1=blue 2=bronze 3=silver 4=gold 5=black Hope I helped ~xXZenMaster HimselfXx~ 2nd edit by bookpudding ps the requirements dont have to be specifically in that order

Yes there is a blck trainor card but it is super hard to get i know you have to do 6 really hard objectives here is a list. Yikes if you try to do this i have but one thing to say GOOD LUCK.
Is Pokemon platinum the same as diamond and pearl?
Yes. They are extremely different. They both take place in the same region, but many things have changed. Different Pokemon, different Elite Four, differen Battle Frontier, different mass outbreaks, different story line in some places, and you can go to the distortion world in Platinum, but in Diamond you catch giratina in Turnback Cave. So it's very different in many more ways than listed above.

No they are not. I have been collecting Pokemon cards for almost my whole life and majority of the cards are trainer cards.
