You can buy seeds from the stand on Main Street, or if you're a Moshi Member, at the Port. When you plant a seed it'll automatically grow into a coloured plant. If this is a colour plant you do not want then you will have to dig up the plant and put down more seeds. It's not possible to buy specific coloured plants.
