Dirty Carb,fuel filter,blocked fuel line,low on compression,Governer not working right,Air cleaner dirty...ect.
There will be an inline filter on the fuel supply line from the tank to the carburetor
It maters what type it is but is properly the fuel line
There are no pick up tubes in a riding mower fuel tank. The fuel is gravity fed until it gets to the fuel pump. Then its mechaniclly pumped to the carburator. There is ony one fuel line from the gas fuel tank to the fuel pump. And all u have to do is measure the hose. Go buy the same length hose put it on the nozel of the fuel tank. Tighten the clamp. Then connect the other end of the hose to the nozzel on the fuel pump. Pay attention of how you take it off so u cn install the new one the right way.
Either follow the gas line from the carborator to it, or from the gas tank to it.
Because there is water in the fuel line. Drain the gas tank, fuel line and the carcuretor bowl. Then put new gas in it.
