1a) To use an item in a room: Click on Edit Room, drag each item from inventory into the room you want it to go in. Position it where you want it, then save the changes. If you drag item(s) in, move stuff around, then decide you don't like it after all, hit cancel to return to previous state.
1b) To use clothing items, click on Change Appearance > Clothing.
2) Delete item from inventory if you don't want it - but this is irreversible!
3) Gift it to a YoVille friend or buddy.
