You do not need to own the Falken in order unlock the X-02. You do need to have all the other aircraft purchased though. The only one not necessary is the Falken.

Not exactly. There is no falken or Morgan or wyvern. Instead there's the cfa-44 nosferatu. There is no enemy ace squadrons and no ace style gauges

You can't unlock it, but you can unlock the ADFX-01 Morgan and ADF-01 FALKEN by beating the game on all different ace styles once.
