Well, you can't actually get rare items for free on BABV because no rare person in their right mind would give up their rare items for free. However, you can trick people, which is pretty hard to do, as well as mean. If you tell them you have something rare, which could not be true, and they say they want it, then get their rare items and tell them that you will trade after. Then leave. I know this because It has happened to me before! it's really mean, so I wouldn't try it, but if you're that type of person there you go. Just so you know, I'm not encouraging you to trick people!
