The simplest way is to use from Gare du Nord, the metro line 5 (heading towards Place d'Italie) - Step down at Bastille. There are six metro stops in between, the travel time is 11 min.
At Gallieni take the subway line 3 (next to the coach station) towards "PONT DE LEVALLOIS - BECON"
- get down at "République" and switch to line 5 towards "BOBIGNY - PABLO PICASSO" -
- step out at "Gare du Nord."
go to the train station and by a ticket from gare du nord to gare de Marley

There are 6, Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est, Gare Saint-Lazare, Gare Montparnasse, Gare de Lyon, Gare d'Austerlitz and Gare de Bercy. Each station serves a different part of France.
Well, these places are not all that close together. Your best bt is to choose a station near the Gare du Nord, like the Terminus Nord, Paris-Liege or the Timhotel Gare du Nord. Any hotel website will guide you to such a place; you want the 10th Arrondissement (which is the district round the Gare du Nord).
