Well normally if your attempting to get to communism through socialism then you would normally require a revolution unless you'r a trotsky version, if a revolution succeeds from feudal society the government takes control of the market and normally with feudalism you have slaves which would be released and all inequality would stop existing because the government would implement laws to stop racism, sexism, etc...
