Simplest way is a No.26 bus, which leaves from directly outside the station, to the left as you exit from the main line area.
Alternatively, you can go by RER - the express underground. Follow signs to the new MAGENTA station, approached through a pedestrian tunnel from Gare du Nord, which connects with Saint-Lazare.

Normally you would take the metro at La Chapelle station (accessible from Gare du Nord through a long corridor) on line 2 and heading towards Porte Dauphine would stop at Monceau station.
But as line 2 is under reconstruction now, untill beginning of September at least, the La Chapelle station is closed
2 solutions :
- Take line 4 at Gare du Nord station, heading towards Porte de Clignancourt and stop at Barbes Rochechouartstation (first station after Gare du Nord) and take line 2 towards Porte Dauphine then stop at Monceaustation
- walk from Gare du Nord to Barbes Rochechouartstation (about 10 minutes) then take line 2 towards Porte Dauphine then stop at Monceau station
Take RER line B in the direction of Massy-Palaiseau.
At Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame, change onto line C, direction Pont de Rungis Aéroport d'Orly.
A shuttle (navette) runs from there.
Alternatively, a taxi costs about 35 euro
Take the metro, it's by far the fastest and easiest way. Look at a metro map of Paris--if I'm not mistaken you have to change lines at least once.
take the RER train in Gare du Nord, branch D2 towards Melun or D4 towards Malesherbes. Step down at Gare de Lyon (second station on the route). Plan in link.

you take the RER from Auber
RER line B towards Paris, until you reach the station "Gare du Nord" At Gare du Nord, switch to RER line E towards "Haussmann Saint Lazare" (next station)
The station in Paris for Normandy is Saint Lazare, not la Gare du Nord
Well, these places are not all that close together. Your best bt is to choose a station near the Gare du Nord, like the Terminus Nord, Paris-Liege or the Timhotel Gare du Nord. Any hotel website will guide you to such a place; you want the 10th Arrondissement (which is the district round the Gare du Nord).
From Gare du Nord to Saint-Lazare, the only direct liaison is the RER underground train, line E. Follow the signs for "RER E - Haussmann - Saint-Lazare'.
RER E from MAGENTA
follow the signs " RER line E " (there is one direction only as St Lazare is the starting point of the line) and step down at the next station. Here you are.
Take the RER B (regional public transport) from the airport to Chatelet (in Paris) then change for Metro line 14 direction St. Lazare. et voila!
The RER is a Paris suburban train service. It does not go to Le Havre. You can go from CdG to Gare du Nord on the RER, from Gare du Nord to Gare Saint-Lazare on the metro, and from Saint-Lazare to Le Havre by train. The SNCF website will help you with this.
