You wouldn't to talk to ghosts trust me. But if they are hurting you don't talk to them, it could make things worse. Just watch what your doing and if you need any advice talk to me.

As far as we know, ghosts seem to be the spirits of people. So, you'll talk to them the same as you'd speak to anyone alive who has a body.
From past research, it seems that ghosts can hear you. However, many of them seem to have given up on anyone noticing them, so they may not reply.
In some cases, the ghost might answer you. If they do, you may not hear them and you'll need some sort of device -- like a voice recorder -- to communicate. Or, you may need to ask them to signal the answer (one knock for yes, two for no) on a wall, door, or table.
You can use a divinatory tool to get the answer. For example, you could use divining rods, also called dowsing rods. Some are specifically designed for ghost hunters.
(Ouija boards are not recommended unless you are already aware of the risks.)
Some ghost hunters use voice recorders, and play back the recording later -- sometimes with a filter -- to hear the ghostly voices. This is called Electronic Voice Phenomena, or EVP.
Mostly, successfully communicating with ghosts requires practice. Visit places where others have recorded EVP or used other means to receive answers from ghosts. That's where you'll probably have the best luck, at least when you're starting out.
