use the cheats here are a few:
I LOVE THE MONKEY HEAD: a really fast retard guy that can do nothing else
LUMBERJACK: 1000 wood
CHEESE STEAKE JIMMY'S: 1000 food
ROCK ON: 1000 rock
Robin Hood: 1000 gold
just play the the game and figure out tactics that can easily get you to win without cheats. for example heres a stragety i like to use when i play with a friend: in the feudle age i get a market and get 10-15 villigers on wood. then at the market and build 30-50 trade carts and use them, don't forget to set a rally point from your market to their's, and when u get into the castle age research "carvans". you will get alot of gold so you wont have to use villigers on gold mines.IMPORTANT KEEP MINING GOLD WHEN YOUR BUILDING THE 30-50 TRADE CARTS. TRADE CARTS COST 100 WOOD 50 GOLD

∙ 13y agoThere are many ways to become a good Starcraft player.
1. Decide on a faction to specialize in. For me, this is the Terrans, but they aren't for everyone. Try expirimenting with all the races to see which one is best for you. If you are patient, you might do well as the Protoss. If you like fast and large forces, the Zerg are best. If you like to turtle up or specialize in one unit, the Terrans are best for that.
2. Save battle replays. Watch your victories and see which strategies allowed you to win. In your losses, see what you did wrong and what the enemy did right. Always absorb new strategies into your own if they allow to win.
3. Work with your allies. Chat with them and see what strategies they are using, and then base yours off of what they are doing. For Instance, if you ask what units they are getting and someone says "Seige Tanks", you know it would be best for your team for someone, even you, to get Anti-Aircraft units, such as Vikings.
4. Use the map to your advantages. If there are a lot of cliffs, get Reapers or Collousi. If there are many chokepoints, get Seige Tanks or Thors. If the mineral bases are far away from starter bases, get marines and other mass units. Whatever you do, don't discount the terrain.

I use vista and I didn't need to patch it. Once you install just update to current version all should work perfectly.

Command and Conquer: Generals Zero Hour is an expansion to Command and Conquer Generals. Install Command and Conquer: Generals then install the expansion pack to play the expansion. In the menu where you select the game you want to play, the button that says "Command and Conquer Generals" should have a button directly below it that says something like "Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour" PS. this is for command and conquer: the first decade. Other wise you will need to download the separate game or buy a separate disk.
