Who is robin hood's mom and dad?

In the story Robin Hood, Robin is grown already, a man on his own, and although he is young he has already moved away from home. His parents are not referenced in the story. Sorry!

This depends upon which version you read, as the story that we know as 'Robin Hood' does not come from one singular author. In one version he and his parents lived in Serwood Forest until he became an outlaw, in another he was the son of Lord Locksley.

Where can you get the BBC Robin Hood soundtrack?

Good luck with that! I searched everywhere and found it on amazon.com. There were only 2 copies available and both were used and at a hefty price of 70.00. I had also checked with the bbc shop and they couldn't ship it to the U.S. (Never understood why not) Also tried to purchase from amazon UK. It showed they had 1 available, but when I purchased it, it came back "unavailable at this time" and I waited several weeks to hear if I was ever going to get it. Of course, I rec'd confirmation that it was no longer available. I'd say in order to get this soundtrack now, you'd have to hope that someone puts their personal copy up on eBay or back on amazon, and it probably most likely won't be a new copy. I lucked out with my copy, it was like new, and I am very pleased with my purchase. except the 70.00 price tag. This has been about a month ago, and I now see that the other copy that was for sell is also gone. Good luck in your search.

What other countries have their own version of Ravioli?

If we define ravioli as simply dough wrapped around a filling of meat, cheese or vegetable, then Chinese steamed buns (featured in dim sum) probably qualifies, along with wontons. Then there's the Eastern European/Jewish kreplach, Polish pierogis, pelmeni and vareniki in Russian-speaking countries, and Maultasche from Germany.

Why did Robin Hood die?

If in the TV series you are on about he died because he got poisoned by his sword by a lady and he sadly died in the forest.
There will not be a Series 4

IN the 1976 movie "Robin and Marian", with Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn in the title roles, Marian surreptitiously poisons both Robin and herself. Robin had just found Marian after years of being away from her. He had just fought the Sheriff of Nottingham to the death in a one on one fight and was rejoicing that it was one of the best days of his life. Marian knew that he would be hunted down and that there would never be a better day for them than this one. So she tricked Robin into drinking poison then drank some herself. Even Robin understood the logic as he died with Marian.

Was Robin Hood a real person?

---

Robyn Hued (Robin Hood) doesn't appear in history until the dark ages and then only in a Ballard. Whether or not he was a real person is left to conjecture. The best guess we have is that he may have been either a fictional character or a composite of a number of different people.

Robin of Locksley the earl of Huntingdon was mentioned as a candidate in the 17th century in a poem by Thomas dale the dean of York, but the authenticity of this is highly questionable. It would have been written many centuries after the life of the so called "Real" Robin Hood and was probably invented to legitimise the character.
Robin Hoood is a character of folklore, who may have been based on an actual person or might just be a story. There is much wrtten on Robin hood, but much of it is contradictory or outright storyteller invention; so it is impossble to say if he actually existed.

Robin hood is believed to be real his was historicaly known as Robin of Loxley he fought in the third Crusade and when he returned prince john had set high taxes. The rest of the story may be folk law but many historians believe he was a real person who was born in 1160 and lived to 1247.

Why does Robin Hood rob the rich?

The people were hard pressed by taxes by the rich.So Robin Hood robbed the rich to give to the poor.

When the American bank robber Willy Sutton was asked, "Willy, why did you rob all those banks?" he replied, "That's where the money was." In my novel The Robin Hood Chronicles Robin tells his men that they will rob only from the wealthy, because they're the ones with money, and leave poor people alone, because they don't have any money.
